Mr. Himmelsbach is the President and CEO of the Cardiovascular Research Foundation, New York City, an academic research organization focusing on scientific advances in interventional cardiology.   He has over 35 years of health care executive experience with extensive leadership roles as a CEO of several hospitals and a major health system.  Previously he was the Executive Officer of VHA’s New York Office and SVP at VHA, Inc., an alliance of not-for-profit hospitals.  He sits on the Board of Directors of Medseek, an enterprise e-health solutions company.  Mr. Himmelsbach holds a BA from Penn State University and a MPH from the University of Pittsburgh.  He is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
